Als Cloud Platform Engineer (m/w/d) bist du die treibende Kraft hinter unserer Cloud-Infrastruktur und stellst sicher, dass unsere Teams produktiv arbeiten können, während die Plattform zuverlässig und performant bleibt. Du übernimmst Verantwortung für unsere AWS-Infrastruktur, Monitoring und Alerting und machst unsere Plattform zur belastbaren und sicheren Basis für das Wachstum von Ocumeda.

Du übernimmst die Verantwortung für unsere AWS-Cloud-Plattform und arbeitest eng mit Entwickler:innen und dem Produktteam zusammen, um sie zu einer sicheren, skalierbaren und kosteneffizienten Grundlage für das Wachstum von Ocumeda zu machen.
Du hältst unsere TypeScript CDK Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) auf dem neuesten Stand, automatisierst die Bereitstellung und Deployment-Prozesse und stellst Reproduzierbarkeit sowie Geschwindigkeit sicher.
Du entwirfst und pflegst Monitoring-, Alerting- und Incident-Response-Prozesse sowie Tests, die eine hohe Verfügbarkeit und Zuverlässigkeit unserer Services gewährleisten.
Du überwachst die Performance, Verfügbarkeit und Kosten der Plattform und setzt datengetriebene Verbesserungen um, um Stabilität und Effizienz zu steigern
Du kombinierst technische Sicherheitsverantwortung (IAM, Networking, Datenschutz) mit strategischer Verantwortung für Infrastrukturentscheidungen.

Your mission

As a Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d) you are the driving force behind our cloud infrastructure and ensure that our teams can build, while the platform stays reliable, and performant. You take ownership of our AWS infrastructure, monitoring and alerting, and make our platform the resilient and secure foundation for Ocumeda’s growth.

You own our AWS cloud platform and work hand in hand with developers and product to shape it into a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient foundation for Ocumeda’s growth
You keep our TypeScript CDK Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) up to date to automate provisioning and deployments, ensuring reproducibility and speed
You design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes and tests that guarantee high availability and reliability of our services
You monitor platform performance, availability, and costs, making data-driven improvements for stability and efficiency
You combine technical security ownership (IAM, networking, data protection) with strategic responsibility for making infrastructure decisions

Your profile

… you have hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (ideally TypeScript CDK)
